Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how SellPeak handles information when providing its seller analytics, profitability, listing intelligence, decision-support, and related features. SellPeak is currently operating as a private beta while broader platform access is under review.

Information we collect

SellPeak may collect information you provide directly, account and authentication information needed to operate the service, technical and security information, and Etsy shop data that you explicitly authorize SellPeak to access through Etsy's approved API and OAuth flow.

Etsy authorization

SellPeak does not request or store your Etsy password. Access to private Etsy member or shop data is obtained only through Etsy's approved OAuth authorization process and is limited by the permissions you grant.

How information is used

Authorized information is used to provide and secure the SellPeak service, including shop-performance views, listing analysis, profitability calculations, product insights, decision-support features, account support, troubleshooting, and service improvement.

Derived and AI-assisted information

SellPeak may calculate or derive metrics from authorized data and may use AI-assisted analysis to explain patterns or suggest actions. The product is designed to distinguish direct shop data, calculations, derived signals, and AI analysis rather than presenting all information as if it came directly from Etsy.

Data minimization, caching, and retention

SellPeak is designed to request only the information reasonably necessary for its approved functionality. Etsy content is refreshed and retained only as needed to provide the service and in accordance with applicable Etsy API caching, freshness, and data-retention requirements. SellPeak does not use screen scraping to sidestep the Etsy API for Etsy data.

Sharing

SellPeak does not sell Etsy Member data, transfer Etsy API credentials, or commercialize access to Etsy data itself. Service providers used to host, secure, or operate SellPeak are given access only as reasonably necessary to provide those services and subject to applicable agreements and law.

Security

SellPeak uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect account information, OAuth tokens, and other sensitive service data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Your choices

You may revoke SellPeak's Etsy authorization through applicable Etsy account controls. Where supported, you may also request access, correction, or deletion of information associated with your SellPeak account. Support requests may be sent to sellpeaksupport@gmail.com.

Third-party platforms

SellPeak relies on third-party services, including Etsy, whose own privacy practices and platform rules apply independently. SellPeak's access to Etsy data may change if Etsy modifies its API, permissions, or policies.

Product analytics

SellPeak may record first-party product events such as page visits, signup progress, connection attempts, feature use, and subscription events to understand whether the service is working and where users encounter friction. These events are used to operate and improve SellPeak and are not sold to advertisers.

Email communications

SellPeak may send transactional emails such as password resets, account and support messages, and billing-related notices. Optional weekly summaries are controlled through notification preferences.

AI service providers

When AI-assisted features are enabled, SellPeak is designed to send structured or minimized business context needed to generate the requested analysis rather than Etsy passwords or API credentials. AI-assisted outputs are labeled as analysis and may be inaccurate.

Account deletion and retention

Users can export account data and request deletion from account settings. SellPeak may retain limited records when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal obligations, or financial recordkeeping.
